Minutes of August 9, 2007

A joint meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Public Works and the Greenwood City Council was held on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 6:00 p.m., at the Central Operations Center in Greenwood, SC.

I.          The meeting was called to order by Mayor Nicholson.

1. The statement of compliance with the notification provision of the Freedom of Information Act was given.

 

1. Discussion:

1. The Commissioners and City Council members discussed industrial development opportunities, potential use of the Federal Building, annexation possibilities, various alternatives in regard to the Grace Street property, and a future meeting with the legislative delegation.

 

            No action was taken.

1. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
