Greenwood CPW Online Bill Payment

Below are some tips for common problems when using our new online billing system.
If this is your first time paying online, please take a minute to review the information below.

Problems creating your account:
During the signup process, the system will ask you to enter the first 5 characters of your name as it appears on your CPW bill. Please note that the space between your first and last names is counted as a character. For instance, if your bill displays the name Paul Smith, you would enter Paul and then a space, which would look like this:

Note the cursor position shows a space entered after Paul.

If your bill displays Kay Smith, you would enter Kay S (Kay, a space, then S).

 

Problems entering your account number:
If your account number begins with a zero, you do not need to enter the leading zero in the first field. The system will not recognize your account if you enter the leading zero. For instance, if your account number is 012-0123-04 you would enter it like this:

Note that the zero's in the 2nd and 3rd fields are entered as normal.

If your account number does not start with a zero, you would enter it just as shown on your bill. For instance, if your account number is 123-0123-04 it would be entered like this:

Problems receiving your password via email:
If you do not receive your password via email within 5 minutes, check your spam filters, junk email folders, and blocked mail to make sure the email did not get blocked. You will need unblock info@greenwoodcpw.com and enroll@greenwoodcpw.com email

If you are using a hotmail.com or aol.com email address, you may not receive the emails because hotmail and AOL blocks them and does not give the option to allow them through. Instead of Hotmail or AOL, we recommend using the email address provided by your ISP, as it is much more reliable. We also have not seen any problems with gmail.com or yahoo.com email.

If you did not receive the password email, send an email to info@greenwoodcpw.com or call customer service at (864) 942-8100 and we will email your password to you. If you email, please provide your account number, name as it appears on the bill, and the email address you used to sign up.

Changing your password or email address:
 Once you have your password you will be able to sign in to pay your bill, and you will be able to change your password and email address by clicking 'user preferences'.

Logging out of the secure payment page:
There is no 'logout' button from the secure page, so just simply close your browser window to close the connection.
