The Greenwood CPW has developed a state-of-the-art purification system that ensures the purity of Greenwood’s water. This system is monitored and maintained 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Greenwood Water System is the12th largest water system in South Carolina. The source of water for the Unit is Lake Greenwood, where the water is of good quality even before treatment. The CPW anticipates that this water supply will be adequate for the needs of the CPW and residents of Greenwood well into the next millennium. So don’t worry, that’s a long time.
